yesterday the boys were carrying around a bag of apple jacks and dumped it out on the floor carpet... me being the thrifty mom that i am scoops it back up and sticks it back in to the bag. I do notice some bits of hair and dirt and i try to remove the larger pieces of dirt/hair and whatnots. I hope the kids don't notice..hey they will eat anything!
fast forward to the next morning, mary always complains if she gets tasteless cereal (i.e. anything healthy) so i give her the apple jacks.
"MOM there is duct tape in my cereal!" she screams!
"ohhhh, really ?"i say acting like i have no idea how duct tape could have possibly gotten into the cereal..lol "Just pick it out and then eat it.."
mary picks it out and then i hear another scream
"EWWWWW what is in this cereal mom! It tastes weird... like dirt! "she screams again...
"oHhh idk why it would taste like dirt", i say "how about some tasteless cereal then? "
I give her instead a more healthy variety and she spends the next few minuets fishing in the cereal bowl investigating for duct tape and dirt. Thankfully this time there is nothing to worry about. the boys didn't get to this box.
